First Trip to Boise

After my week in San Francisco, I flew to Boise to spend time with Ryan, Kara, and Isaac over Conference weekend. I got into Boise really late Friday night. The first order of business Saturday morning was to kiss this face...
Then we watched General Conference of course! Can I just say that General Conference was amazing?! Just like it always is! I really felt like I got a lot of answers to prayers and concerns. I feel so blessed to be able to hear from our church leaders every 6 months!
Between sessions on Saturday, we headed straight to Baja Fresh. Delicious!
Pardon the greasy Crisco hair...it was pre-shower Saturday morning, but I can't stop kissing these cheeks!!
Saturday night Kara and I hit the town shopping while Ryan went to Priesthood session. I bought clothes and shoes like it was going out of style! It was quite a successful weekend for shopping. I even had enough room in my suitcase to get it all home. Izzy was a champ while Kara and I shopped. He was this happy all the time even when he missed naps and feedings. He's such a gem!
Between sessions on Sunday, we headed into Boise to do some sightseeing. We drove by Ryan's office, the state capitol building, Boise State campus (saw the smurf turf), and a lookout point over the city.
We also drove by the temple. I was able to go do a session on Tuesday morning. It is a lovely little temple! It was so busy though! I kept hearing all the patrons excitedly talking about Pres. Monson announcing during conference that they would be getting a new temple in Meridian, ID. They definitely need it!
On Monday, Kara and I went shopping again...oops! On my way to the airport on Tuesday, we went and visited a friend from BYU, Meredith Gregory. It was great to catch up with her! It was such a fun weekend! I miss the Cosby's living close, but they have a great little setup there in Boise. It was the first of many trips to Boise!

Left My Heart in San Francisco

The last week of March I got to go to San Francisco on a work trip for some training. The weather was PERFECTO! I love that city so much! We went to Chinatown, Fisherman's Wharf, Pier 39, the Golden Gate Bridge, and Haight Ashbury.

The first couple of days that I was there, I was driving around in one of these new NAVTEQ cars. They draw quite a lot of attention! I would stare too!

Then we moved to a hotel over by the airport. I jogged along the San Francisco Bay Trail every morning for a little exercise. This was my view every morning during my jog. I could jog forever with this view! Well, not forever, but for a long time! I saw a real live skunk (from afar, thankfully) while running on the trail. Yikes!

Here are some of my work peeps at Pier 39...Jen Duran (Denver), Chuck Atherton (Phoenix), and Sean Boykin (Phoenix).

There is a story behind this picture which I will have to tell only in person, but as you can tell, I was dying! The newcomer to the picture is Jason West (Houston).
I have this thing with climbing on statues lately. Don't know! There's nothing quite like a sea lion up your rear!
Jen and I in Chinatown.
Jason had heard from a friend that he HAD to get an It's It ice cream sandwich while he was in San Fran. It was our mission all week to get our hands on one. They did not disappoint! I wish I was eating one right now!
One night we went ate dinner on a floating houseboat island thing called Forbes Island. This pic is on the ferry over to the island. More of my work peeps...John Mahaney (Phoenix), Rob Miller(Denver), Christian Cummings (Seattle), Jay LaRoche (Denver), and Scott Rimer (Phoenix).
This was the sunset from Forbes Island.
Me coming out of the bathroom on Forbes Island. It was a pretty cool restaurant/house boat!
Last but not least, some pics of us at the Golden Gate Bridge. Jen, Me, and Chuck
Climbing on things again...

Hurray for fun work trips and awesome coworkers! It was so much and so beautiful! Until we meet again San Francisco....

Cosby's in Utah

A few weeks ago, Ryan had meetings in Salt Lake so Kara and Isaac joined him. It was so great to have them here. Do not ever move away from me! There is nothing I love more than playing with all my babies and siblings! You know we went down to Provo one day and all bought Jimmer shirts. We were in the thick of Jimmer mania and had to represent. This pic of the three of us is too funny not to include! I'm a little behind in my blogging, so enjoy these pictures and stay tuned for pics from my other recent adventures.

I'll try my hand at posting video. Not sure why it's so grainy, but these are my babies! Sorry the last one is sideways. I'm not quite sure how to fix that, but it was too good not to include!
