3 Months Old

And just like that, Porter is 1/4 of a year old!  He is smiley and social.

Every time we are around Sophie, she makes sure Porter has tummy time.  He's getting really good at holding his head up a long time!

This happened one night.  He stayed asleep the whole time I changed him.

He's still my scrawny little buddy!

He was really proud of himself for this one!

This is my work set up.  I breastfeed away while still working.  Sometimes he even takes a little nap right there.

Not sure how much long he's going to be staying in the bouncer.

We got our family wall all set up.

3 Months old!
Porter is waking up twice a night now.  We put him down around 7:30pm, and he wakes up around 1am and again around 4am.  He usually eats and falls right back asleep.  We are still attempting to breastfeed, but we supplement a lot with formula.  He coos all the time and we love it!  He is usually a happy little guy!  We love him!

Bennion's in Town

Last week Wendy and the kids were in town.  We spent as much time all together as we could!  One night we celebrated Halloween in July since the Bennion's are never here for our annual Halloween party.  It was so fun!  Everyone was even provided costume courtesy of the stake clothing swap that morning!
Playing minute to win it games.

All the grandkiddos (minus the Willis's)!

Wendy's kids were in love with Porter.  It was so cute!  He loved them too!

We love when the Bennion's are in town and cherish every minute we get all together!

First Family Photos

Our niece, Aubrey, offered to take family photos for us to build her portfolio.  A few days ago, we headed over to the American Fork amphitheater to give it a go.  Porter normally is an earlier riser, but he decided to sleep in this day and decided to scratch his face just in time for family photos.  It was hectic getting out the door so early, but they turned out great!

Aubrey did an awesome job editing out the scratch on his cheek.  You would never know!  Look at that sweet face!

Love this family of mine!

Porter's Baby Blessing

Yesterday was a special day around here!  We had almost all our family and friends at church with us for Porter's baby blessing.  James gave him the most beautiful blessing.  The part I remember the most was James blessing him that he will always have courage to do what is right and keep the commandments.  His bless was very appropriate for the crazy world that Porter will grow up in.  Here are some pictures of our sweet boy on his big day...

After church we had dinner over at Nana and Papa's with everyone.  We love when both our families get to hang out together!
How sweet is this picture?  Three generations of Taylor boys!

Fourth of July

We spent the 4th of July with the Cosby fam this year since my parents and both of my brothers were in town from Idaho for Porter's blessing.  We spent most of the day together and of course had a big feast for dinner.

Then we celebrated these three lovely ladies' July birthdays with cake and ice cream.

Sparklers in the front yard was next on the agenda.

This kid kills me with the head tilt!
Then we headed to the Cabela's parking lots for the big firework show.  My parent's were super nice and stayed at Amy's with sleeping Porter and Luke while the rest of us enjoyed the fireworks (and I fell asleep).

I love this holiday and this country and this awesome family of mine!
