The first weekend of February, I took a half day off work on Friday and headed down to Provo to spend some time with these kids before they leave me and move to Boise. It was a super fun weekend!
Me and my three most favorite babies! Isaac looks so jolly and Sophie looks so distressed. I love it!
On Sunday we all met at the Grossen's for our annual Super Bowl party. I had zero interest in the game, but it was a good excuse for a party with lots of good food. These two couldn't keep their eyes off the game. Gotta love Amy and Dan's new Sony Bravia!
The crew watching the game. The amount of food we had was out of this world. I have to list it so I never forget: 7 layer dip and chips, stuffed mushrooms, taquitos, wings, Muddy Buddies, M&M's, raspberry pie, pizza, homemade ice cream, vegetable tray, salad, soda, and chocolate chip cookies. Needless to say, it was temptation island for me. I tried to stick to the vegetable tray and salad as much as possible, but food is so dang good!
Other adventures that have happened in February so far include watching every BYU basketball game, lots of fun time with friends, a snowshoeing date with a certain boy, and lots and lots of boy drama (both my own drama and my friends' drama, when it rains, it pours!). It makes for an interesting life! Every day is a new adventure! I feel like I'm 16 again (though I don't remember having much boy drama in the teenage years), and my acne face makes me look like I'm 16 again as well. I think it's stress-related. I need a long vacation!
