It was a grand time in B-town California for Christmas this year! I was so excited to take James home and show him how a Cosby Christmas is done. We left on Tuesday morning, drove all day, and went straight to Sequoia Sandwiches with my dad for dinner. Priorities! My mom was down in LA at Disneyland with Ryan's family. She got home later that night. On Christmas Eve, we had our usual party with the Petersen's. My dad left in the middle of the party to head down to Burbank to pick up Deeds and Kim. The troops were gathering!

| Wyatt's current picture face phase. Love him! |
I was long gone asleep by the time Deeds and Kim got to the house, but Deeds and I initiated Kim and James on our Christmas morning tradition of waking up in the middle of the night to go downstairs to see what Santa brought us. Deeds and Kim got a tent and James and I got four more folding chairs for our card table...love it! James and I also exchanged our Santa gifts. James got me an awesome three-dimensional globe that I get to build. It will be perfect for the baby's room! Then the four of us got situated on the couches and fell asleep watching Galaxy Quest until the parentals woke up. Once Ryan's family arrived, it was present time!

| The classic from the stairs shot. The Grossen's didn't come until the next day. It would have been a tight squeeze if they had been there, but we would have made it work. We missed them! |
This was a Christmas gift hit...
 |
| Yep, a mullet wig for Deeds! |
 |
| My favorite thing about this picture is Deeds' face and Wyatt is so proud! |
 |
| So fun to have Kim there with us! Can't wait for her to be an official part of the fam! |
 |
| Deeds got my dad this Pepsi can with dangling bullets wind chime. A perfect combo for my dad! |
After crazy snow fall in Utah, the the Grossen's finally arrived, and it was the best time ever having the entire family there at the same time. There really isn't anything better for me! We mostly just hung out and played game and relaxed.
James and I hit the road to come back home yesterday morning. It seemed like it took forever to make it back. We hit some snow around Beaver and our windshield wiper fluid stopped working. I had to pee every few hours. Slowly but surely we finally made it back to our casa. We had to stop at the Red Barn to get some ice cream. Leave it to us to stop for ice cream when it was 15 degrees outside. We love the Red Barn!
I had looked forward to this Christmas vacation for months, and then it was over before I knew it. I really tried to just sit and enjoy every moment with my family. I left my phone upstairs on silent every day. I tried to take minimal naps. Some of my favorite moments were walking with my parents around the neighborhood in the morning. Next Christmas, we will have an 8-month-old. How wild is that?! Merry Christmas everyone!
