Vacation at Jordandale

Shout out to my madre who called Jordanelle Reservoir "Jordandale"! Woop woop! We rented a condo at Jordanelle Reservoir for a few days in June. It was the bestest! I love all these people so, so much! And it was tremendously awesome to get out of my usual routine for a few days! This is us on Main Street in Park City after a quick visit to the Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory for some carmel apples. Yummy!
Is there any question in anyone's mind why I love this kid more than anything? He's just the cutest thing you've ever seen!
Currently the thing I love most is the two bottom teeth with a huge gap on either side back to his molars.
This is the kitchen of my dreams! I think I could cook and live in there forever!

Me and my Jack Jack!
I tried to spend as much time as possible on the deck. There was such an amazing view, and that chair was the best chair I have ever sat in in my life. Is a sentence allowed to have "in in" in it? I couldn't think of how to say it differently. Oh well! I've been out of college too long!

Jack and the grandparentals!
Jack is ready to go to the lake! It was on this vacation that I think Jack realized the purpose of sunglasses (or "cool dudes" as he calls them). This was the first time he has ever left them on longer than 10 seconds.
The lake was freezing and slightly disgusting, but still fun!
Jack loved picking up handfuls of dirt and throwing them in the water.
This is how Janni Banani spent her time at the lake.
The Grossen's. You know Amy was getting her crossword on.
Me and my momma!
This picture of Jack and Dan was shortly after I looked over at Jack as he said, "drink", and proceeded to bend down and try to take a gulp of a small lake cess pool. Amy, Dan, Janet, and I all yelled at the same time, "no, Jack, no"!!! He's still alive...don't worry!
Ryan and Kara in our elevator. Yes, our condo did have an elevator. Who's ever heard of such a thing?! Awesome!
Many times a day, you can find Jack looking something like this...
Me and Deeds in our bunk cubby. It was right next to the hot tub and so so quiet and dark!
The view from our deck.
My prego brother...
and my actually prego sisters!!
This is where we spent most of our nights. The hot tub actually ended up being quite the debacle. We tried to turn the temperature way down so that the pregos could get in it, but then it was way too cold. It took a lot of online research (by Deeds) and a lot of patience (and several empty 1 gallon apple juice bottles full of ice cold water) before we got the hot tub back into top form. So relaxing!
So sad our vacation is over, but ready to go home! Jack was reading one of his book while we drove home through Parley's canyon. He started getting really quiet. We all thought he was just really tired. Nope! Hurled all over himself! Poor little kid must have gotten carsick!
Hurray for family vacations!
And hurray for stopping by the outlet mall on the way home to see if they happened to have the size of capris I needed at the Gap since they didn't have the right size two days before. It was a long shot, but they had the right size!!! P.S. They are three sizes smaller than what I wore 6 months ago. Woop woop!
