Bridals and Groomals

So there is this thing in Utah called Groomals...at least I think its is particular to Utah/Mormons.  I had never heard of it before planning our wedding.  Basically instead of just a bridal photo shoot, you have both the bride and groom all dressed up, and we do most of our photos together before the wedding to cut down on the time spent on taking pictures on the actual wedding day.  We thought it was a genius idea!  And it came as part of our photography package, so why not?  I know, James would see me in my dress before the wedding!!  We aren't much for tradition I guess!  We took them at the Mount Timpanogos Temple (where we will wed in a couple of weeks) and at the park across the street.  Here are some of our favorites...

I L-O-V-E this picture!  Random fact...I made my own veil!  Veils are ridiculously expensive.  I spent about $4 on mine.  Love it!

One of my very favs!!

Just love that boy!!

That's my handsome fiance!

It was blazing hot this day and a t-storm was on the horizon, but we had a lot of fun!  We stopped by Panda Express on the way home to grab some dinner and they gave us 10% off as a wedding present.  How awesome is that?!  We should head out in our wedding attire more often!  Can't wait for the actual day!!

Moving...Blah!!

Labor Day weekend was moving weekend for me.  My dear parentals were so nice to drive up with a complete bedroom set in town to help with the big move.  It is the bedroom set that Amy and I used growing up.  It is one of the many wedding presents they are giving us.  That little U-Haul fit all my belongings in it (in several trips of course).  My mom, dad, and I did the bulk of the moving.  It nearly killed us!  I love and appreciate them so much!

James and I celebrated our first dinner in our new apartment with Beto's while getting our cable and internet all set up.  I will live in the apartment for the next couple of weeks and hopefully get most of my stuff unpacked while James bring over loads of his stuff a little at a time.  I can't wait until we both live here!!

Cable up and running!  Most important priority!  Let college football begin!
I don't ever want to move again!  It is the worst!

Happy Birthday to My Handsome Fiance!!

James turned 32 last weekend!!  It was a really busy weekend, so we didn't do a whole lot, but we had a little party Amy's house for him and the kids helped him open presents and blow out the candles.

James prefers pies to cake, so Amy and I each made a pie for him.  They were so delicious!  I sure love this birthday boy!  I don't know what I did to deserve him forever, but I can't wait to be his wife!  Happy Birthday, honey!!
