Taylor Family Time

We have spent a lot of time with James's family for the last couple of weeks and it has been awesome!  I sure love them all and I'm so excited to become an official member of the Taylor clan!  His niece's Sweet 16 birthday party was last weekend.  They had a big party at a park near their house.
This is me and Noelle, mother of the birthday girl.  Does she look old enough to have a 16-year-old?  No, I absolutely don't think so!
Then all last week, James's sister, Wendy, who lives in Portland was in town with all her kids. This was my first time meeting her five kids.  They are so fantastic!  It was a very fun week full of lots of family time!
This picture makes me overjoyed!  James's dad and brother-in-law, Byde.  So so sooo funny!
The morning before Wendy and her family left, we got to all go up to Brigham City for a special event.  James's brother and sister-in-law adopted a baby girl in January, so after waiting 6 months for everything to become official, they were sealed together.  It was such a neat experience to be in the temple with James, his parents, and all of his siblings.  Scarlett was so sweet and so alert through the whole thing.  She is such a precious little girl!
This temple is stunning!

James and baby Scarlett.  I know...aren't her cheeks to die for!

Most of the ladies...Aubrey, Sydnee, Katie, Wendy, Sondra, Hilary, and me.

All of the Taylor grandkids minus Scarlet and Max

Sydnee, Taylor, and Byde

Wendy and John

The boys!  Isn't my honey so handsome?!

All the grandkids with Nana and Papa!
I love spending time with the Taylor's and feel so blessed that James has such an incredible family!  I am honored to become a Taylor in just a couple of months!

Bling! Bling! Bling!

These are the types of pictures I send James almost every day...
Here's what the ring looks like while I'm working...

Here's what it looks like when I'm driving...

Here's what it looks like when I'm doing yoga...

And what it looks like when I'm grocery shopping...

And putting on mascara...

And picking my nose...
I look at it 1,000 times a day and love it so much!  I just like to let James know on a regular basis that I love it and love him!  He loves getting these texts from me! :)

Saying Yes to the Dress

So the morning before I got engaged and the morning after, I was out looking for wedding dresses.  We had already pretty much decided on a wedding date, so I knew I needed to get busy finding a dress so there would be plenty of time to find one and have it altered.  Olivia went with me the first day.  I will number them in case you want to make comments about certain dresses.  What a weird and funny time trying on wedding dresses!  And please excuse all the clamps and possible bra strap views!  The wedding dresses that you actually try on are never in your size or fit at all.  It makes picking one extra awesome!
#1 Didn't love the Queen Mary or Queen Anne or whatever this neckline is called...

#2  Pretty!

#3  Meh!

#4 For some reason I loved this one and now when I look at the picture I think it is heinous!

#5  I thought this one was weird in person with how different the top and bottom were from each other but I love it now that I look at the picture.  I think I love it because the picture is at a really good angle and I look super skinny.

#6 Hideous and so heavy with all that satin!

#7 Too feathery!

#8 Too shiny!

#9 Loved this one but they couldn't get it in my size in white in time for the wedding.

#10 Too cupcakey!

#11 Atrocious!

#12 Vomit!

#13 This one was my favorite at this store, but again they couldn't get it in white in my size in time and it was super expensive.  It had a really ugly bow on it so we tried to cover it up with a belt.  That's why the belt looks weird.

#14 This one had no structure to it, just my rolls and curves.  A no go!
I tried on lots of dresses with Olivia at the first store.  It was awesome and really good to help me figure out what I liked and didn't like.  Amy and Sophie went with me the next day to a store down in Provo.  Sophie said, "I want to be a white princess."  Love that girl.  Here are a few more that I tried on there.
#15 This one is just laughable now that I look at pictures of it. Holy ruffle!

#16 Pretty!  Love the bottom!
We found my dress at this store which I will not post pictures of now.  You'll have to come to my reception to see it or wait for pictures after the wedding!  So excited and I love it so much! Wedding dress...check!  The day after getting engaged!  How is that for efficient?!
