We made it to the last home basketball game! Of course it was against Gonzaga who was about to become the #1 team in the nation. I had little hope of us pulling out a victory.
We kept it pretty close most of the game and it came down to the last couple minutes of the game. I did the angel dance to bring in the angels...
They honored Dennis Pitta at half time for winning the Super Bowl. It was awesome rad to see him again! Love that guy!
It was about the loudest that I've ever heard the Marriott Center since the Jimmer days.
You definitely know that we did not pull out the victory, but it was sure fun going to the games with these friends! What are we going to do with ourselves now that football and basketball are over?!
One may ask what in the world the name of this blog means. Let me explain. My dad has called me "Sherwi" (the "r" is sort of silent, hard to explain how to pronounce it)my whole life. I'm not sure where it comes from. Maybe it was the way I said my own name when I was a wee tot. Nonetheless, it has stuck with me my whole life. When Lord of the Rings became popular, my brothers started calling me Sherwi Baggins due to my tall stature. I'm honored to have it as a nickname. Hobbits rock!

Bucket List #58 - Get a Professional Massage - Complete
Remember how I'm dating the best boyfriend ever? Well, last week he took me to get my first professional massage so I could mark it off my bucket list. It was awesome! If it wasn't so expensive, I think I would get one every single day! My masseuse said that I carry my stress like a man. Ummm...thank you, I think! I guess women usually carry their stress in their neck and shoulders and mine is more in my upper back. She said she could tell just by touching my skin that I keep myself very well-hydrated. Thank you, massage lady! I sure try!
Getting a massage was also a card in the box of fun that James gave me for Christmas! A lot of the things he put in the box of fun are things to cross of my bucket list. He really is the best!

Tortilla Bar
Before a BYU basketball game, James took me to the Tortilla Bar in Orem. He had been there for a work lunch and raved about it. I'm not going to lie, it was outstanding! He asked me to rank it in all the places we have eaten together and I think it came in 3rd place (behind Cafe Terigo in Park City and Bombay House). The Tortilla Bar is owned and operated by a sweet old Mexican man and his two sons. It's really small, so we got to sit right at the bar that overlooks the kitchen. We got to see them work their magic firsthand. James gave the waiter the green light and just told him to bring us a little of everything. We had a granny smith apple and manchego salad and a pureed black bean soup to start. Then he brought us 4 different tacos...pork, avocado, hanger steak, and calamari. Now I am far from a seafood fan, but the calamari taco was to die for! We polished it all off with a sweet cheese empanada covered in roasted quinoa for dessert. Yummm! We were both stuffed, which was quite uncomfortable for an entire basketball game, but it was so worth it. Can't wait to go back!
Love, love, love this boy!
And love, love, love these friends!
