A week in Boise with some of the people I love most on earth...what more could a girl ask for? I road tripped with Amy and the kiddos the end of March to spend time with Ryan, Kara, and Isaac. We had so much fun, and I wish we all lived close to each other like the good ol' days! The good news is that Boise is great! I quite love it and could definitely live there. Ryan and Kara keep trying to talk me into it. I tell them if they find me a job or a husband there, I would move in a second! The "licklish" (licorice according to Jack) and the DVD player sure makes the trip up to Boise an easy one! I love that both J and S love black licorice as much as I do. Soph is wearing most of hers.
We played a lot every day. I worked from our Boise office for a few days so I didn't have to take as many days off. It worked out just smashingly! The first day we were there, we went to a place called Monkey Bizness. They have big bounce houses, jungle gyms, and slides for the kids. Soph was a little daredevil and LOVED the huge slide. Jack and Iz were not fans, but I probably went down that thing with the Buggy at least 30 times and she sobbed when we had to leave it.
This picture of Jack makes my day. Haha! Look at that face! He was sort of terrified of everything just like Iz. I wonder if its a first child thing. He warmed up some when he found a swing in the jungle gym thing.
And the littlest Iz didn't really warm up to anything and could be found standing by the door to leave most of the time. Poor little fellow! I think its just too overwhelming for him.
Another day we toured the Old Idaho State Penitentiary. I felt like I was on the set of Shawshenk Redemption. It was awesome and fascinating and sad!
So I have been talking for months, possibly years, now about having a photo shoot done so we could update my picture on my parent's wall above the fireplace. There still resides my senior HS picture and it is atrocious. Ok, its not so bad, but it is time for an update. Normal people get married and replace the senior pic with a wedding picture. Normal people also have children and replace the wedding picture with a family pic. I am not normal apparently. Here is said mantle...

We attempted a cousin photo shoot on Sunday with the kids all in their cute spring attire. It failed miserably like it always does. I truly don't understand how cute pictures of kids are ever taken. They never all look at the camera and look cute at the same time. It was a good attempt and I sure love and adore them!!

The rest of the time was spent just hanging out and playing games. Every night after the kids were in bed, we would games and eat ice cream. It was not good for my figure, but it was sure good for my soul! I love these people!

It was a great vacation! I might just need to work from the Boise office a little more often! The best thing in the world was when I would come home from work and all the kids would run to me and give me hugs. That just makes an aunt's day! Thanks Cosby's for letting us take over your house for a week!
