Take Me Out to the Ball Game

James and I have been talking about going to a Bees game all summer, so we finally made it happen last night!  Going to a baseball game and eating a hot dog just feels so American!  Love it!

There were fireworks afterward which were awesome!  Fireworks just make me giddy.  So fun!  Let's be honest, baseball games are long and somewhat boring, but it was still fun to go on a little day with my fiance!  I'm calling him fiance as often as possible since I won't be able to call him that for too much longer.  Yippee!!

Engagement Pictures

Remember how I'm getting married?!  Ahhhhhh!  It is the happiest thing!  We got our engagement pictures back a few days ago, and we love them!  Enjoy some of our favs...

We had so much fun and our photographer was so great (Sarah Carabine)!  One of those was the one we chose for our invitations even so stayed tuned to a mailbox near you!  The photos were taken in downtown Provo and out by Utah Lake.

Babysitting and Pottery Painting

The basement of my soon to be in-law's house is a grandchild's dream.  I babysat Jack and Sophie last weekend while the Grossen's went to the temple and they had the best time.
Popcorn and "sparkly" (soda) out of the vending machine.
Lady and the Tramp in the theater room

Tricycles
Air hockey

And picking stuff in the garden
I think I only babysat them for 3 hours and we did all that fun stuff!  Amy tells me they ask about going back to James's house every single day.  I'm so glad they had fun!
I babysat them again yesterday for a few hours and we went swimming, made pancakes, and watched Despicable Me at my house.  Sure do love these kids!

Jack is such a brave swimmer now!  And of course Soph has no fear!
Then last night James took me on a date to Color Me Mine down in Provo.  We both picked serving bowls to paint for our new apartment (which we haven't found yet, but will soon hopefully!).  They don't look too awesome until they fire them in the kiln.  We go back next weekend to pick up the finished product.

We are so cheesy in love!  Mine is a lace stencil and James's is some sort of mineral rock paint or something.
And the finished product...

We love the way they turned out!
