So my year was so, so, SO great! I learned so much about myself, and made so many amazing memories. I spent more hours exercising this year than I have in my entire life combined. I ate lots and lots of fruits, veggies, and wheat things. I went on more dates than I have in my entire life combined. It’s interesting how when I actually am in love with myself, other people start to love me too. I am forever grateful for my dear family. They are truly all my best friends. I also made many lifelong new friends who have blessed my life in so many ways that I can’t even count them. I feel overwhelmed with all the blessings that I have been given. I am so anxious to jump into 2011 and make it just as awesome as 2010 was! Now it just needs to stop being winter so I can go hiking and camping!!

And here are just a few before and after pictures:

Party Like It's 2011

For as long as I can remember, I have celebrated New Years with the fam. It is always fun because my fam is the awesomest, but I felt like I needed to change things up this year. I talked with a couple of the girlfriends, and we decided to throw a New Years Eve party. I left CA little early, and headed back to Utah to be home for New Years Eve (after making an attempt on the 30th and running into road closures because of snow, Deeds and I finally made it back on the 31st). I walked in the door of my apt at about 5:30pm and headed back out at 6:45pm to make it to my 7pm party. What a crazy day! But it was the funnest! We met at Noodles & Co for dinner and then headed to Michelle's house for the party.

We attempted a black and white themed party. These are all the people who played along. Thank you, ladies...and Chris! :)
There was kareoke, Wii, lots of food, movies, games...so fun! Gretchen and Heather on the mikes.
Brett, Kyle, Preston, Tricia and I played Quirkle.
HAPPY NEW YEAR! Brett ringing in the new year.
Brian all ready for a toast! Brett and I decided he looks like the awesome Dos Equis guy.
Me and Brett
Me and Tricia...aren't we so pretty? I think so!
Me and my partners in crime. Haley and Michelle made this party happen with zero help from me because of my delayed return to Utah due to the snow. Stupid snow! They are the best, and the party was awesome!
One of my greatest blessings = my friends! I feel so blessed to be able to celebrate the new year with so many of them! We were up until 4am, and for some reason I woke up at 9am. I've never had a hangover, but I'm pretty sure I know what one feels like now! I'm getting too old for these kinds of shenanigans!

California Christmas

I know that Christmas was nearly 100 years ago already, but I've been super busy! Here are some pictures of my trip home to California for Christmas. This sunrise was Christmas morning. And people wonder I love Cali!
Christmas with kiddos is so fun! Jack would yell "whoa" or "wow, look at that!" before he even knew what the present was. So funny!
My Christmas babies - Isaac and Sophie
My little Sophie Clause...Lakers style!
Jack and Sophie on Christmas morning.
The ladies all ready for church. We are so lovely!
We went down to SoCal one day to go to the beach and to visit family (we got to see Claire, Evelyn, and my uncle Jim). Here are the motherlies getting their b-feed on at Santa Monica Pier.
The Cosby fam on the pier.
People-watching is my favorite thing. We couldn't pass up a picture with this Christian hero in head-to-toe lavendar and crosses.
Me on the pier.
Jack's Baywatch shot. He loves the beach! When Amy asked him what he wanted for Christmas, he said, "the beach." Here ya go, little buddy!
The Grossen fam at the beach. Jack would not be distracted from his castle building.
I got to spend so much quality time with these little ones. Oh how I love them!!
Sophie and Uncle Deedsy...also featuring Sophie's horn.
I am in love with my little Sophie buggy!
It was such a great vacation. I slept so much. I was in bed before 10pm every night, took a nap almost every day, and usually woke up around 7am. Brilliant! It was very relaxing and a much needed break from the normal routine. I love being with my family so much! I feel so blessed that we were able to spend another Christmas all together!
